Happy Game iG Beat Zenith with Five Dagons

In G-1 Champions League Asian, iG vs zenith is kind of happy game. Although iG posted a 2-1 victory over zenith, there were lots of glad and angry moments. How should I describe this game, awesome, happy, or funny? I have no idea but it was wonderful and glad indeed, especially iceiceice’s performance, which would tell you the meaning of ‘life is a show’.

In round one, IG was very serious and it was in the line with their stable strategy, but iceiceice is absent-minded. Riki planned to solo Zhou’s SF, but ChuaN’s Rubick teleported and helped Zhou. Then they killed Riki which caused SF’s strong economy. By this, Zhou let you know what a winner looked like.

G-1 League - Zenith vs Invictus Gaming - Game 1 (Asia Qualifiers, Phase 3)

Round two was turning point of the game, it was delight and in this round zenith didn’t ban anyone. IG was strong and serious but zenith didn’t care. They didn’t ban people and instead they just picked Naix first. It worked and IG members couldn’t deal with zenith, losing their strategy and temper. Surprisingly, they lose the game.

G-1 League - Zenith vs Invictus Gaming - Game 2 (Asia Qualifiers, Phase 3)

In round three, IG showed their power. Shadow Demon and Chen ganked and suppressed all three lanes of zenith. YYF’s Naix also had strong economy. Finally, they all equipped Dagons leading by 430’s Beastmaster. How angry  iG was! Then iG rushed to the highland and started their slaining. Zenith lost the game. There’s a very interesting thing when iG rushed to opponent fountain: Iceiceice went to iG’s fountain and said he was ready to slain. And chuan wrote on the microblog, “give you electronic shocks to death”. You can imagine the happiness of this match!

G-1 League - Zenith vs Invictus Gaming - Game 3 (Asia Qualifiers, Phase 3)

We should send congratulations to both IG and zenith for this wonderful game. Congratulations to IG for their victory and to zenith for their risky strategy. As commentator said, it wasn’t easy to beat IG when you were serious about the game. Maybe playing in chaos can win. However, not every team is brave enough to play in this way.

DotA2 Top10 Carry Champions

The most attention – getting role in DotA2 is no doubt the Carry. In mid and late game, they decide the result of team fight. Recently Valve released two carries – Medusa and Troll Warlord. Today we will present you top ten carries in DotA2, figure out the reason for their carry ability and their unique features. Now let’s have a look together.

Vote for the best carry in your mind! Your vote may decide the best carry of this year! Please click champion’s image to vote.

TOP 1 Troll Warlord
Troll Warlord
Troll Warlord is very powerful as he can knock out enemies in melee and he has fast attack speed. During laning, Troll Warlord can develop as ranged champion and switch to melee after equipping items. The defect is he tends to deal damage to single target and highly dependents on items.

TOP 2  Spectre
Spectre
The Spectre has always been regarded as one of the most powerful carries. His ult of global range can instantly enter the battle and deal extensive damage. With the item – Radiance and his skill Dispersion, he can be both tank and DPS.

TOP 3 Phantom Assassin
Phantom Assassin
Her ult Coup de Grâce excites most players of DotA and 450% critical damage makes her a carry with excellent burst. Blur improves her survival ability tremendously and enables her safety during farm so that she is able to equip fine items and then kill enemies.

TOP 4  Outworld Destroyer
Outworld Destroyer
Most carries are agility champions, but Harbinger is an exception. And his superiority on intelligence determines his carry ability. He’s good at stealing others’ intelligence. Meanwhile, he can deal pure damage through Arcane Orb and his Essence Aura can restore allies’ mana pool when they cast spells. The only weakness is that Black King Bar can counter him and he’s less powerful when opponents try to interrupt his line – up.

TOP 5 Luna
Luna
Luna is the champion with the fastest basic movement speed in DotA2. Her passive greatly improves her fighting capacity. But Moon Glaive is actually the chief reason why Luna becomes the main carry. It enables her fast clearing ability and AOE damage in team fight.

TOP 6 Medusa
Medusa
Medusa is less powerful than other carries in 1v1, but her AOE damage ability domineer over others because of her skill - Split Shot. Also because of the skill, Divine Rapier is made for her.

TOP 7 Phantom Lancer
Phantom Lancer
In current version, Azwraith becomes the carry due to his 4.2 agility growth. Meanwhile, he can create lots of illusions. It can be a disaster for enemies whether Azwraith uses illusions one by one or creates them at the same time. For line – up without champions dealing AOE, he can be deadly.

TOP 8 Faceless Void
Faceless Void
Of all carries, Darkterror is the only one with crowd control. Because of this skill, he needs to be DPS in the battle, pay attention to the time to enter the battle and cast Chronosphere reasonably. Apart from that, he possesses two skills – knock out and parry which all carries dream of.

TOP 9 Drow Ranger
Drow Ranger
Although her ability growth is low, her ult makes it up. 40 agility bonus of maximum ult enables her wonderful DPS ability. With Precision Aura, she owns very high output at level 16. The 625 range grants her the ability in laning.

TOP 10 Anti - Mage
Anti - Mage
Anti – mage is one of the hottest carries in recent tournaments. His great mobility enables him the ability to move between lanes and jungle. He has excellent farm ability. His orb further improves his output ability and high magic resist also guarantees his survival ability.

v1lat and LaoDang Were first Invited by The International 3

v1lat has allegedly received his invite to The International 3 together with uprising Chinese shoutcaster, LaoDang.

Famous Russian shoutcaster, Vitali 'v1lat' Volochai announced on Twitter that he has been invited to The International 3, Dota 2's biggest annual event.

The reason for such an early invite may be due to last year's incident in which three other Russian casters could not get their visa in time when they were invited in May.

v1lat ended up powering through the whole of TI3 and casted all the games solo. This can be exemplified when he lost his voice shouting at "The Play".

Cyborgmatt wrote on Reddit, "V1lat's dedication at TI2 was amazing, towards the end of the event he was literally dumping entire pots of honey in his morning tea before setting off for the venue".

As we were reaching out to v1lat to make sure that this isn't a joke, we reached out to several Russian casters such as Versuta but he has apparently not heard any of the sort nor has he received an invite.

iG vs Na`Vi - Game 2, Winner Bracket Semifinals - The International - Russian Commentary

However, Sgamer reported this morning that Chinese caster Wei Hua 'LaoDang' Dang has also been invited to cast The International 3. According to LaoDang's Weibo post, LaoDang stated Ming Yin 'Hippovic' Chen, Valve's Chinese Dota 2 representative invited him to the tournament yesterday after a short talk with Icefrog.

This indicates that Valve are already starting to send invites out to established and potential casters for their annual event in Seattle. Gosugamers also contacted Hippovic about LaoDang's Weibo post and was given the green light on the matter.

Translated LaoDang Weibo post:

In a brief conversation with IceFrog earlier, I have been invited as the official Chinese shoutcaster in The International 3. The day before yesterday when Seafall asked me about this, I told him I wouldn't even dare to think about it. As it turns out, Hippovic messaged me and talked to me about this on the same day. This is truly unbelievable.

My invite to TI3 as a live caster , this is the biggest surprise and my biggest challenge of the year. Enough of the nonsense, see you in TI3. Finally, a special thanks to Hippovic for his recommendation and for helping me in translation.

New Champion Skywrath Mage Revealed,Saint Debuts?

The renowned Russian DOTA2 website released a skill test video recently. It’s unquestionably Skywrath Mage from the skill icon and the English name. We have reported that he’s almost done among several champions these days. So will Valve update Skywrath Mage next week? Let’s wait and see.

The video is absolutely not the joke on April Fool’s Day though the champion in it looks a little funny.

Dota 2 Skywrath Mage – Dragonus

I have found a picture about Skywrath Mage. The design is relatively satisfactory and the character at lower right corner seems to be Abaddon? We can expect the new champion in next few weeks.
